Nobody know for sure from where roulette comes from. Some declare that it is derived from China and was brought by traders and Dominican monks from the Far East to the Americas. Others claim that the roulette game comes from France, the word being French word for ìsmall wheel”, and was created by an unruly French mathematician, Blaise Pascal in the 17th century.

Monaco still remains a strong convert to the roulette game because in the 18th century Prince Charles thought that it would be a convenient way to keep the economy of the small principality afloat. When the game came to the Americas in the middle of the 19th Century the invention of the single “O” was introduced by Frenchmen, Louis and Francois Blanc. However the American game now plays the double “O” game while the European game still constitutes the single “0″ game. The double O game enables the house to make a higher profit. The roulette game proved to have something of a milestone in the California Gold Rush obviously attracted to the large amounts of money to be made.

There are two different ways of playing roulette, there are two different wheels that are played and these are the American wheel and the European wheel. The difference is minimal in that the American wheel has 38 numbers including 0, 00 and 1 to 36. The European wheel contains 37 numbers including 0 and the numbers 1 to 36. Other differences between the two varying forms of roulette are that in American casinos, the dealers will use their hands to draw in the bets while the European croupiers use a long stick called the Rake to collect the chips. Also in America the roulette players are given different color chips and in Europe they are given the same color chips. Roulette continues to be a very popular game especially in Europe.

Online gambling is for sure growing day by day. The meteoric rise in online casinos and poker rooms has made many people very wealthy. The owners of cassava enterprises (888) Avi and Aaron Shaked recently floated their company on the London Stock exchange, their company is now valued in excess of £700 million. Ruth Parasol the co-founder of party gaming also recently floated her enterprise on the stock market making her an overnight billionaire. But where is all this heading? Surely the industry cannot continue to generate wealth at the staggering rate that we have witnessed over the past two years.

It must be remembered that the online gambling industry is still very much in its infancy. The first online casino opened around 1995 although the exact date is somewhat of a mystery. The industry itself did not fully capitalise on the online marketplace until around 1999 when faster internet connections became more widespread, allowing more colourful games with smoother graphics and game play. Today the industry is evolving more quickly than ever before with an ever increasing number of entrepreneurs realising the vast fortunes that can be made from hosting an online gambling site.

Today it is estimated that there are over 2000 online gambling sites just waiting to take punters money. There is a mixture of honest and dishonest sites out there and choosing a website that is fair and honest is no easy task. The reason for the vast number of online gambling sites out there lies in the simplicity involved with setting one up. One can set up an online poker network for several thousand pounds and the owner doesnít even need to worry about a starting number of players on his network. Players from the ownerís site simply play in the software providerís pool of existing players, providing an incredibly easy route to market.

Online gambling has taken affiliate marketing by the horns and adopted it as its own. For those that donít know what affiliate marketing is, here is a brief rundown. Companies with products or services to sell do deals with website owners, whereby for every sale that is generated from a visitor of the webmasters website, they will receive a commission. The commissions offered by online gambling operators are one of the highest and most lucrative in the marketplace ranging from between 10 and 50% of net gaming revenue (player losses) or up to $500 CPA (cost per acquisition). As a result the online gambling industry is the most competitive industry on the web, with top spots in google form keywords netting webmasters over $1 million dollars per year.

In the game of Baccarat this doesn’t allow for the rounds to be dependent on each other. There are six to eight decks used in a shoe that is randomly shuffled. This means that you can’t really predict what cards will come up next, even when you count cards. The chance of winning is therefore the same in every hand. There are some players of Baccarat who believe they have the perfect strategy, but the truth is they are trying to sell a book or their site online. Strategies in this game are usually card counting, pattern watching, and a streak, but that is all related to chance.

Casinos actually offer a board that will display the previous hands. The player doesn’t have to remember what has been played as they can see it on the board. Some casinos offer paper and pen for this tracking. The idea is to spot a pattern in the hands played and then bet accordingly. The casino of course doesn’t feel threatened by this use of the board because there really is no pattern. The hands are completely separate from the others. Basically using common sense in Baccarat is the only way to win. For example the house has the edge, always. Second if the house has won the last eight games you can be pretty certain the next hand will also be won by the banker. However, there is no probability or pattern to actually suggest there is truth in this. Each round has a 50 percent chance of the banker winning, just like there is a 50 percent chance the player will win. The point is don’t count on the board to show you a pattern, the chance is you will be wrong if you look for a pattern. If the casino is willing to offer you the means of detecting a pattern you can be pretty sure there is no use in it, the house will never give up its edge.

Card counting is not something a casino wants to see. If you have ever watched a casino movie you know that this strategy is taken pretty seriously and the casinos tend to get angry. Card counting can work when you play online or try to do so, on the casino floor without giving up what you are doing. Blackjack is a game in which you can have a lot of success as a card counter. You might even think that it will work in Baccarat; however you only have three bets to place each round and you can’t change your strategy for winning. In other words it is not very useful, and could end up throwing you off the rules. Most of the time the discarded cards are placed back in the shoe, so there again it is a useless option.
he truth is that you need to make the proper decisions in the game for what it is. Having fun is the most important aspect of this game.

Gambling is the act of wagering money or something of material worth on a particular event with a misconstrued outcome. People who actively commence in the game have intent of winning more money or goods then they previously wagered. Primarily the outcome of the wager is does indeed pay for itself within a short period of time.

Gaming companies offer legal means in which the public can commence in a scheme of gambling. However, there are other forms of gambling that are considered prohibited and people who exercise this particular form of illegal gambling will be incarcerated for their actions. It is pertinent that before you engage in any game that insists that you put up a wager of funds that you ensure that the activity is of a legal nature.

Many people are familiar with the legalized aspects of wagering money in order to gain more money or materials in the process. There are a plethora of legalized games that you can play that are considered to be safe and enjoyable. Casino games enable you to set aside a certain amount of money to play the game in hopes of winning more. Although your chances for success with the games differ from one game to the next, many people choose to engage in the activity realizing the consequences of lost.

Along with casino games and things of that nature you can also try your luck at a game of Bingo. Bingo has been around for centuries. In many parts of the world as well as on the internet Bingo games are actively played. People begin by buying a particular number of cards in hopes to come out victorious. The concept behind the game is to cover as much as your card with numbers that are randomly picked. Whoever gets their cards covered the fastest, are deemed the winner, and in turn they receive a handsome reward.

Many countries have their own form of lotteries. Your odds of winning a lottery are not relatively well. However, many people choose to take their chances with the game knowing that they may not see any return in the process.

Studies have shown that gambling can become an addictive game. Many people engage in the sport as a means to gain income. However this means of winning money for a small wager can have some adverse effects on brain chemistry. Knowing when to stop commencing in the game, is key to avoid addiction to the sport.

A huge attraction at casinos across the country, the classic roulette wheel remains one of the most exciting casino games available.

Here’s how roulette works: the wheel consists of slots or “pockets” numbered from 1 to 36, which are either red or black. The standard American casino roulette wheel also contains two green slots: 0 and 00 (many European wheels eliminate the 00, which creates more favorable odds for players). Casino players can bet on one, two, three, four or six numbers; or they can choose to bet red or black; high or low; odd or even. Single numbers pay the highest, while either/or bets are lowest. In a casino, the person who spins the wheel is called a “croupier.” When all bets are placed, the croupier spins the wheel and a ball bounces from slot to slot until finally coming to rest in one of them. A casino roulette wheel is a lively place to be when it’s spinning; players love to shout and encourage the wheel to stop in their favor!

The green slots in roulette are where casinos make their money. If the roulette ball lands in the 0 slot, the game ends and all players receive half their original bets back. However, if the dreaded 00 is spun, the House (the casino) keeps all the bets. You can bet that in just about any casino, the croupier is hoping for a big fat double zero.

Revere invented a new simple counting system and first described the method of reducing the current score to the real one. Stanford Wong amplified and improved Hi-Lo system, and also developed the Halves system. Lance Humble, Brison, Gordon, Harvey Dubner, – all these giants made a great contribution to the development of the methods of the game.

In late 70s the professional gambler Al Francesco, probably created the first blackjack team in history. He hired the enthusiasts, taught them Lawrence Revere’s counting system and sent them to play. He invented and put into practice the principle of “BIG PLAYER” – when the part of the team is humbly playing low and some drunken and wealthy fish makes high bets on the given signals.

The book “BIG PLAYER” revealed the secrets of team game. The Book “Million Dollar Blackjack” is stuffed with unbelievable stories in intervals explaining the technical aspects also presents different cards counting systems. Uston made people believe that one can beat casino playing blackjack. Win a lot. Millions of dollars. Also everyone found out how casinos react to the professional gamblers – slams, insinuations, blacklists, crooked gambling, false accusations. Uston was in the blacklists all over the world, having won with his several teams about 8 million dollars.

By the way, Al Francesco and many other players are still dissatisfied with Uston’s actions who decided to publish the methods of the game which were then available only to the few. But Uston would not be himself if he had not done it.

The next outburst of his popularity was in early 80s, when Ken won the case against a casino in New Jersey (Resorts International Hotel Inc.). Since then no casino of this state (unlike, for example, Las Vegas in Nevada) is not eligible to prohibit playing to person who can count cards. On the other hand, this verdict made the rules in Nevada much worse than in Vegas.

The next wave of the struggle between the casino and counters relates to Uston’s era. The casinos understood, that well-financed team of pros can cause great losses. And then the multidecked games, frequent riffle were coming into fashion and several good rules just died away. There appeared special detective agencies who spied on the professional players, collected the necessary information about them and distributed it among the casinos.

Uston created new methods of the game, used makeup, recruited more and more people in his teams and started playing abroad. He also was writing new books, was starring on TV, was writing new articles, was developing new counting systems. By the way Ken, wrote the book on optimal game strategy for Pac-Man (arcade video game). It’s a video game not for money, he was just interested in it.

First and foremost it is the ability to monitor how much you will spend on gambling. Reckless spending causes the most problems in gambling as it identifies a lack of understanding for the basic principles of playing responsibly.

Second money management is the ability to play proportionally to ones bankroll. This will ensure the use of your money available for gambling in the most efficient manner. Here are some money management skills you need to consider when playing casino games.

Decide before starting to play what your bankroll is for the session. Your bankroll is the funds that you have set aside for gambling. Don’t get caught up and spend more than you initially decide upon. This requires discipline! You need to decide before you start playing how much money would be considered a winning session for you. Be realistic. Choose your bets wisely and play proportionally to your bankroll. If your bankroll is $100.00 don’t play $25.00 hands! Chances are you will play a minimum of four hands and be disappointed with your experience. However, with a $100.00 bankroll if you play $5.00 bets you will play at least 20 hands and if you play $1.00 bets you will play at least 100 hands. Therefore playing proportionally to your bankroll improves your odds as your session will last that much longer and increases your chance of winning. Stay sharp and alert. Playing for long periods of times can make one tired and reckless. If you are fatigued quit while you may still be ahead.

If you find yourself in the midst of a losing streak its better to just accept it. Avoid chasing your losses. Chances are you will blow your bankroll under these less than optimum conditions. Emotional tendencies can also lead to recklessness. Try and stay calm and stick to the basic strategy.

Caesar’s Palace also offers a wide range of eating venues from fine dining restaurants, to casual dining cafes and plenty of bars and lounges. In addition to all of this, there is a large shopping area, and at the famous Venetian you can go gambling to your heart’s content, then take a gondola ride to wind down the evening. If you are not interested in gambling, entertainment, dining or shopping, maybe you can wind down with a full body massage in Caesar’s Palace spa and fitness center.

Of course, all the free food, live shows and other features are really there to help diversify your gambling experience. The real reason the casinos exist is to provide you with quality entertainment with games of chance. Those games have come a long way since the old James Bond movies where hero and villain sit across the casino’s roulette wheel or the poker table matching wits.

Today there is video poker, progressive slot machine gambling, video blackjack and much more. The high-tech games are just as enticing as their older counterparts, and when you hear the jackpot sirens ringing on these machines, there’s no question who won, or where. Casinos today are bigger, more sophisticated and more dazzling than ever before.

To get more people into the casino, many establishments are offering incentive packages including books of coupons for discounted drinks, and some even offer a ‘bet matching’ incentive coupon that doubles your winnings on certain games. The casino scene offers many enticements and incentives, but the main attraction is always fun.

In blackjack, the object of the game is to get the sum of the two cards close to 21. When a person gets cards that are over 21, he or she loses the game.

Normally, a player receives two cards. After the players see their cards, they have to decide whether they would hit or stand. When a person says “stand,” this means the player thinks he or she is closer to 21 already. When a player says “hit,” this means that he or she still needs additional cards just to get close to 21.

Players can draw as many cards as they want until they feel they are close to 21 already. A player who is nearer to 21 wins.

However, there are people who have devised some tips and strategies to get an edge over the other players. There are times that these tips really can help some people win.

Here’s a list of some tips that players may choose to use them so as to win the game.

1. If a player gets 17 or higher, it is always better to stand, and if the player has any number from 13 to 16 and the dealer’s card is 6 or lower, it would be better to stand. But if the dealer has 7 or more, it would be better for a player to hit.

The theory here is that, if the dealer is showing a card of six or lower, the dealer may take a card, assuming that the dealer’s card facing down is a ten. The players, then, assume that the dealer is banking on a bust hand, so the other players have the tendency to maintain a lower card number.

The rule of thumb: players should always assume that the dealer’s down cards is 10.

2. If a player has aces or 8’s, it would be better to split them regardless of the dealer’s showing card.

3. A player should remember not to split 10’s. Chances are, they might end up getting busted.

4. If the dealer is showing 4, 5, or 6, it would be better for a player to stand on hard 12, or hit hard if the dealer is showing 2, 3, 7, or higher.

5. In order to win, players should always remember not to split fours, face cards, and fives.

As well as gambling, I love to have a few beers. It was during one of my nights out drinking when I met an old school friend. His name was John and we had not seen each other for around fifteen years. The conversation soon turned to talking about various forms of gambling and we realised that we had very similar interests.

John told me about some of his more profitable days and I responded by talking about some of mine. I must say his seemed far more impressive than what I had ever won. John then told me that he was very good friends with a local trainer and that he had some information that I might be interested in.

This night was becoming more interesting by the hour and I enquired as to what type of information he had. He started talking about a horse which the trainer and its connections thought could not lose. The horse was going to run in ten days time and was of a far higher class than what the other horses in the race would be. The trainer wanted the horse to have an easy victory so that it would gain some confidence from the race.

I told quite a lot of people about this horse over the next few days, this was to be a big mistake, a mistake I will not be repeating in the future.

The big race day arrived and I was very excited. I will not tell you how much I placed on the horse but lets just say it was a lot of money. The odds were five to one and I believed that this was going to be the easiest money I would have ever obtained.

The race in question was a three mile hurdle and with only three fences to go the horse was cruising. It was challenging the long term leader who was fading and being strongly ridden. Approaching the second to last fence the horse took the lead but disaster was to strike, yes it fell at this fence. I could not believe it, the horse would have won if only it could have jumped those last two fences.

These are my horse racing tips, beware there is no such thing as a racing certainty and only gamble what you can afford to lose. Gambling can be lots of fun and you can have some great days and nights out, I now treat it like a hobby and have decreased the amount I bet as I now have a family to support.
