Russian: All Land Gambling Venues Will Be Moved Out Of Main Cities
The Russian government has no intention of moderating its draconian ruling that come July 1st 2009 all land gambling venues will be moved out of main cities and confined to four pre-identified areas in the country.
President Dmitry Medvedev emphasised at a meeting with the chief of the Federal Tax Service, Mikhail Mokretsov, that the law on the gambling areas that all casinos should be transferred later this year will not be revised under any circumstances.
Medvedev said: “As of July 1 all gambling activities will proceed in a very different fashion. All facilities outside the designated areas are to be closed. Four gambling zones are to be created.
