Massachusetts About The Crime Bill

The press has recently announced that people are facing now more and more with the inevitability of gambling expansion in the Bay State, while the law enforcement officials are trying to support legislation to convince laws dealing with money laundering, dirthy money and organized crime.

The Massachusetts Attorney, Martha Coakley,  and some legislators with district attorneys have filed a measure that proponents would like to give law enforcement the tools to investigate and prosecute the criminal enterprises.

This year, in April, the Senate President, Therese Murray, affirmed that the Governor Deval Patrick with Robert DeLeo want the supporting of the expanded gambling legislation.
They have also agreed that even though the gambling crime bill will be approved by the Legislature, a crime would be done to engage in a financial transaction came from criminal activity only to promote this.
