Lawmakers Want to Ban Smoking on Casinos?
The owners from Atlantic City casino wanted smoking on their casino floors. They were allowed to do so. Casinos can have smoking in 25 percent of the casino floors.
Senator Joseph Vitale said that casinos have not complied with even the 75/25 standard. Hence lawmakers in the state may be changing their position. A Bill that would stop all smoking on casino floors will be introduced this month.
Lawmakers have also called on Pennsylvania to make similar smoking laws. Pennsylvania recently changed their limits on smoking from 25 to 50 percent for floors.
