Christy Mihos Massachusetts U.S. Republican candidate said that the public should legalized gambling since this would result in increased profits and the state Lottery would bring annual USD 1 billion tax related gambling.
Mr. Mihos stated that the citizens of Massachusetts spent an average $ 829 per person at the Lottery, Maryland’s $ 290 and over New Jersey’s $ 270. 
Online sportsbooks and sports betting are already used in the United States. Commission Association has estimated that illegal gambling now could bring $ 380 billion USD a year.
Mihos said the Massachusetts State Lottery is in the gambling business achievement and a lot of illegal gambling.
Teaming with local professional sports teams want to sell their lottery products, which the state expects a shortfall of 34 million dollars from the budget estimate was based on that. Mihos asked reductions from the state and 10 percent reduction in salary. Revenue from gambling would offset tax cuts, the tax rate from 6.25 percent to 5 percent, reducing the tax on capital gains.
