In a traditional game of blackjack a dealer will only reveal one of their two cards. While this does help a good player to realistically estimate what their chances of beating the dealer might be, it is in fact only an educated guess. There are so many possibilities that most players involved in a standard game of blackjack tend to focus their playing strategy on their own hand.

Also in a standard game of blackjack the dealer must look at their “hole card” (the one remaining face down) if their top card is at a ten value. This prevents players from betting against a dealer that all ready has “blackjack” and losing more money. If a dealer has hit “blackjack” all bets are lost, and a new hand will begin.

There are also many rules variations in blackjack that make for different dealer requirements, such as “S17” and “H17” games which oblige a dealer to hit or not hit if they deal themselves a seventeen. Currently, there are over one hundred different methods for playing Blackjack under different rules and methods. One of them is known as “Double Exposure”.

What happens in a game of “double exposure blackjack” is that both of the dealer’s cards are revealed. This is a great deal of information for all of the players at a table, but it comes with a few variations to the standard rules of a traditional Blackjack game. It also may make some players change their usual strategies.

For example, the payout amounts are dramatically changed; instead of the usual three to two payout for a “blackjack” (meaning a five dollar wager pays a seven dollar and fifty cent win) for “Double Exposure Blackjack” the payout is always “even money” which is a one to one payout. This means the player wins only the amount they bet.

Another rule variation that applies to “Double Exposure Blackjack” is around “pushing”. When a dealer and a player tie for scores this is referred to as a “push” or “pushing”. What it usually means is that the player’s bid remains on the table and they neither win nor lose. In a game of “Double Exposure Blackjack” however a “push” actually means the player loses their bet. The only exception is if the player alone has a “blackjack” – which is a two card twenty-one.

Final variants to standard rules apply to gaming strategies such as the popular “double down” and “splitting”. Many casinos eliminate these options for the players involved in a game of “Double Exposure Blackjack”.

These modifications to the rules make the game less gainful to a player and tend to re-even the odds of winning or losing. For example, a player must get a “hard” twenty to beat the dealer’s twenty. This means that the player is obliged to get the high score from their own original two cards, without “hitting” again. While the dealer can still beat their twenty with as many cards as they need to reach the figure.

The nature of the human being is one of the most important ingredients in a complicated gambling business. Each of the elements implied in the equation: a casino and a gambler want to win money from each other and the chances are equal for both of them is the gambler interest is on the rise.

Until 1962 the game blackjack was not very popular, though percentage wise the profit rate was exclusively high. After publication of the book by Thorp the situation changed radically. Thorp became an internationally famous personality, casinos were terrified that thus everyone could learn the system of Thorp and would start beating casinos winning huge amounts of money.

The results of this panic are well-known. The majority of casinos cardinally changed the blackjack rules creating even a larger overbalance in comparison with the previous set of rules. These introductions were effective a few weeks only as the majority of casinos’ clients simply refused to play a game with such bad rules.

Subordinating to the law of supply and demand casinos had to quickly restore traditional rules for all. After this gamblers started immediately to play again, more than that in considerably larger quantities. The popularity of Thorp’s book played into the hands of casinos. Blackjack started to attract crowds of people who thought they could “beat a dealer” only after they had read one book.

But the fact remained that casinos’ visitors continued to lose the same amounts of money while playing blackjack as before. Only the number of gamblers increased a hundred times. The majority of those who had read the book simply didn’t understand the way the calculation of tens given in the book worked, and those who got to the bottom didn’t take enough pains so as to master the system of calculation from A to Z. Casinos observed in surprise the incredibly increased profits.

Over that period of time a number of books on blackjack were published. The game gathered pace. Casinos were setting more and more tables. Blackjack was becoming the most popular game in casinos having outrun the previous leader craps.

Casinos were once again overcome by the fit of paranoia. They started to suspect that the systems developed with the help of research methods could considerably influence their profits. Casinos started to introduce a multi-pack blackjack instead of a one-pack blackjack to struggle against the system game.

Finally, up to the present moment a small number of professionals still win in blackjack. And will win in the future. There is no doubt that it will get still more and more difficult to win in blackjack. However, there difficulties only make gambling wits work harder and harder. Right away new game systems are being worked out in many heads and at many computers of the world.

It is important to understand that gamblers always have a hope. They can change games and can develop theory of probability. However the strategies developed by information, probability calculus and technology the secure winning at blackjack is measured even by the ability of the casinos or of the other player to counteract.

Blackjack is by far most favorite casino card game. Contrary to what a lot gamblers may believe, blackjack is not barely an all odds game.

Blackjack came to North America from France, where it was called vingt-et-un (21). It was called 21 in the United States until it was legalized in Nevada under the gambling law. In the 1930s, Nevada casinos started paying special odds, 10-to-1, for hands that won with the ace of spades and one of the blackjacks. Today, no such special odds are paid out and there is no significance to a card’s suit, but the name of the game caught on. So it’s still more popularly called blackjack than 21.

With any blackjack hand there is a strategy and an false strategy. Basic strategy is the guess and tell strategy, but the correct strategy is the mathematical and probabilities strategy that will maximize your wins and minimize your losses on each hand over time.

You may have noted that several extra general card plots have no primary strategy. There is, for example, no basic strategy for poker. A poker player plays his hands according to whether or not he thinks his opponent is actually holding a strong hand or may be bluffing.

A basic blackjack strategy can not exist for any card game as long as your adversary can plot decisions, whether those conclusions are expert or bad, will be how the players bet his pass. For centuries of years, in that respect was no canonize strategy for blackjack.

If the American casinos changed the rules of the twenty-one states that one of the dealer’s cards and to require that the dealer has strictly complied with, or beat the current strategy, an important thing that happened that is. They essentially exchanged the game of blackjack from a poker-style gritty based a lot of on psychology, to a purely numerical game-as far as the participant’s strategy was referred.

Traveling back in prison term a few decades and you will come up the generator of more mod myths. The most interesting swirl around the group of professional gamblers who devised the so-called basic strategy and those people, blessed with a good memory that can beat the house by counting cards.

Today’s soundness says that casting the two jointly gives you the better chance of bunking the sign adjoin. There is some reality to this for those of you who go to real-world casinos. Indeed, a lot casinos actually distribute small cards with the most common strategy printed in neat sets back and charts. But the pilot empowered by logic guards his knowledge and deals it just at high toll. So no matter the strategy opted for the logistics of action is the path for winning.

The basic strategy for Blackjack is to compare your hand to that of the dealer’s showing card. The basic card values are straightforward enough, but when you pull a soft-hand or can double down you are in a position to make a strong play if you know what you are doing.

In playing blackjack is not luck that is required but strategy. In the game of blackjack the cards received by the dealer are considered to either be a soft or a hard hand.

A soft-hand is an ace, counted as 11 and any other card below the value of ten. For example, if you receive an Ace and a 6, your soft hand total is 17. This hand gets its name because the ace can be either one or eleven as necessary. The big advantage to a soft hand is that you can take hits with less risk of busing. But that doesn’t mean you can be carefree about how you play your hand.

If you have an ace with an 8 or higher then hold your hand and don’t take a hit. By playing the ace as 11 you have 19, which is a hand you should always stand on. In the case your cards are an ace with 7 take a hit if the dealer’s showing card is 9 or better.

But if a player finds himself in the situation to have an ace with six or less then you should always take a bit even though this means you are taking a risky hit on 17 you can always bail yourself out if you bust by using the ace as a 1.

Doubling down is another situation you need to master if you want to win at blackjack. Doubling down allows you to double you initial bet in certain circumstances. If played correctly you can offset the house advantage and that is an opportunity not to be missed keeping in mind though that casinos have different rules when a player opt for a double down strategy.

You should go for the double down strategy according to following rules:

If your have card values of 9 to 11 then double down, if you play the game of blackjack according to statistics you will have great chance to win because there are so many cards with a value of 10 to draw.

When holding a soft hand you should double down only when you can exploit a weak dealer card. The way to play an soft hand for doubling down is as follows:

If you have an ace with 8-9, just stand as this is a strong hand so don’t double down.
If you have an ace with 6.-7 then double down and take a hit if the dealer is showing a weak 3-6, and especially 4.-6 you are on the right track.
If you have an ace with 4.-5 only double down if the dealer is holding a weak 4.-6.
If you have an ace with 2-3 then only double down if the dealer is showing a 5-6.

Bear in mind that blackjack revolves around math and statistics. By knowing how to play these strategies you can take advantage of favorable hands when they come you way.

Splitting pairs as a blackjack strategy is mainly a dilemma for most players all all around the web there are advice whether you should or shouldn’t split pair when playing blackjack.

The most common advice is always split sevens, or only split sevens if the dealer has a two, three or four. But the fact remains that the list of advice is endless. Rather than advising what you what to do, let’s have a look at the simple maths when it comes to pairs. From there, you can determine your own strategy.

When should you decide splitting the seven? A hand of 14 is fairly weak and unless the dealer busts has little chance of winning. If you decide to split your sevens you have a better chance of gaining a winable hand. Draw an eight or better and you have improved your hand. Draw a 4 or less and you can hit again. The cards you probably don’t want to see are the five, six or seven. The game will now be determined on your strategy for holding a twelve, thirteen or fourteen. The reality is if you split sevens you have a very good chance of improving your hand.

The chances of improving your hand decrease with all other pairings except perhaps the pair of six’s. Twelve is a no hope strategy in blackjack. Splitting your six’s may improve your hand. However drawing a seven through face will only give you a max of sixteen. Draw two through five and you can hit again. Draw another six and your back to square one. With pairs in the two through five range the chances of improving your hand are fairly problematic. If you hod a pair of five’s and split, the best you can achieve on singe draw is 15 with a ten or face card. If you are holding a pair of five’s then the ten or face card would have been perfect for a 20. The situation is true for the other pairs under five.

The decision of splitting 8 or above is tough. The pairs eight and above are already in win position. The higher the card value the less chance there is to draw a higher card. Of course with face cards the only higher value is an ace. When splitting face cards you are more likely to reduce your hand at blackjack than increase it. There are 36 cards lower than ten and only 20 cards ten and above. If you hold two of these then you are hoping to draw one of four aces or one of 18 ten and above cards. You can improve your hand when splitting aces. With split ace pair, draw a ten plus and your laughing., if you draw seven, eight or nine your simply happy.

But the fact remains that splitting in blackjack is often a matter of thinking about the probability of winning. No matter what cards the dealer provided only after the split it time when your strategy inclines you to hit or to sit.

When it is followed correctly it reduces the house edge to the minimum, which is usually about one-half of a percent.

Sometimes minor adjustments are made to basic strategy undergoing in the game of balckjack depending on certain rule variations.

In order to improve the blackjack strategy of a certain player it is a mandatory requirement to learn the basic strategy.

This shows each player how to play the first two card in order to see where the game might turn to.

The most important thing to know when developing a blackjack strategy is to know that the house always gains the first advantage by the fact that the player must act first.

Playing blackjack hard hands:

First and formost know that the more you stick to basic blackjack strategy the better off you are.

A hard hand is defined by two starting cards that don’t contain an ace.

They are called hard hands because they are tough to handle and because of their potential to bust a hit.

The blackjack strategy in this case is crucial, being that dependet factor if you win or lose.

Depending of the cards in hand and on what the dealer give you decide either to stop or continue playing.

Know that an ideal blackjack strategy recommends that in the above cases a player should definetly make a hit:

1. If your current total is eight or less

2. If the initial total is a hard nine you should double on a dealer up card from three to six, or else hit.

3. If your hard hand totals to ten, double if your dealer has two to nine, or else hit.

4. If you have a hard 11 double if your dealer has two to 10, or else hit especially if the dealer shows an Ace.

5. A hard 12 will have you hit on a dealer’s two or three, stand on a dealer’s four through six, or else hit.

6. Hard 13 to hard 16 should be played as: stand on a dealer’s two through six up card, or else hit.

7. Remember to always stand on hard 17 to hard 21.

These blackjack hard hand strategy you ensure an optimal move for any player.

It is important to set a win and a loss limit in order to protect your bugdet in case you notice that the other players have a better game strategy.

n basic blackjack strategies, you need to look not only at your cards, but also the dealer’s up card. The first rule is to always assume that the dealer’s hole card is a ten. Since there are more tens in the deck than any other possible number, it is likely that any card you cannot see is a ten. Remember that Kings, Queens, Jacks and Tens are all worth 10 points; so while there are only four Fives in a deck, there are 16 Tens. Since Tens are so plentiful, you also need to assume that when you hit, you are more likely to get a Ten than any other card. Of course, the dealer is also more likely to get a Ten, too. This is the core information that forms the basis of all blackjack strategies.
So, when you are playing following standard blackjack strategies, you look at your cards — let’s say you have a three and a ten — and then at the dealer’s exposed card — imagine the dealer has a sixteen. The dealer must hit sixteen, but is most likely to get a ten which will cause him to bust; in addition, any card higher than a five will cause him to bust which means there are only 16 cards that would help him and 32 cards that hurt his hand. While your odds are better, his are so bad that most blackjack strategies will tell you to stand and hope the dealer busts. No, this won’t work every time, but if you follow the odds with your blackjack strategy you will have the best possible chance of winning.

You may remember Jeff as one of the legendary MIT card-counters who made a business and science out of taking the casinos for all they were worth. He was the basis for the character “Kevin Lewis” in Bringing Down the House, and “Ben Campbell” in the film 21 (yes, it’s not very nice to portray Asian Americans using white actors — essentially saying that people wouldn’t go to a movie if Asian Americans were in it — but Ma doesn’t seem to mind too much, so why should we?).

At this point, you will be well aware of the benefits and basics of blackjack card counting strategies. While it may seem daunting, or only for mathematical geniuses (hands up, who saw Rain Man?), card counting is as simple as being able to keep one number in your head and adding or subtracting one or two from that number as each card is dealt. You’ve already learned all the rules of blackjack, right? You can certainly make these kinds of simple calculations when playing online blackjack at one of the best online casinos.

The beauty of online casinos is that you can practice card counting techniques and strategies with no distractions – and none of the pressures you might feel in a land-based casino. As far as casino games go, blackjack – for this reason – lends itself perfectly to the online gambling forum.

In blackjack, the object of the game is to get the sum of the two cards close to 21. When a person gets cards that are over 21, he or she loses the game.

Normally, a player receives two cards. After the players see their cards, they have to decide whether they would hit or stand. When a person says “stand,” this means the player thinks he or she is closer to 21 already. When a player says “hit,” this means that he or she still needs additional cards just to get close to 21.

Players can draw as many cards as they want until they feel they are close to 21 already. A player who is nearer to 21 wins.

However, there are people who have devised some tips and strategies to get an edge over the other players. There are times that these tips really can help some people win.

Here’s a list of some tips that players may choose to use them so as to win the game.

1. If a player gets 17 or higher, it is always better to stand, and if the player has any number from 13 to 16 and the dealer’s card is 6 or lower, it would be better to stand. But if the dealer has 7 or more, it would be better for a player to hit.

The theory here is that, if the dealer is showing a card of six or lower, the dealer may take a card, assuming that the dealer’s card facing down is a ten. The players, then, assume that the dealer is banking on a bust hand, so the other players have the tendency to maintain a lower card number.

The rule of thumb: players should always assume that the dealer’s down cards is 10.

2. If a player has aces or 8’s, it would be better to split them regardless of the dealer’s showing card.

3. A player should remember not to split 10’s. Chances are, they might end up getting busted.

4. If the dealer is showing 4, 5, or 6, it would be better for a player to stand on hard 12, or hit hard if the dealer is showing 2, 3, 7, or higher.

5. In order to win, players should always remember not to split fours, face cards, and fives.

Blackjack is one of the most played casino card game in the world today. Blackjack is one of the very few ëbeatableí casino games, meaning that if you know the rules and have a basic understanding of strategy than you can come out in the black, so to speak, over the house.

The edge over the house can only be achieved if a player knows the rules and the strategy of the game.

The rules are simple; the main purpose is to have a hand closer to 21 than the dealer, without going over. The strategy involves knowing the odds. Knowing whether to hit ñ get more cards ñ or stand ñ stay with your current hand ñ at 17 is where strategy starts to come in.

Playing for practice, or free money, online is a great advantage for blackjack beginners today. Blackjack is one of those games where the rules are easy to learn but the strategy takes time to master. It is possible, though. Today, with the free versions online, all a person needs is perseverance and an Internet connection.

The basic objective in the game of blackjack is to get the highest hand value to 21 points without going over. When learning the rules, the main factor a player needs to learn is how much each card is worth. Afterward, with the strategy, a player will need to remember the odds and statistics of the cards.

The great thing about a blackjack strategy is that the more tips you learn, the better your game will get. Knowing a few tips can dramatically increase your game.

The best advice for beginners is to find a site with a free version and start playing. The strategy will come with time. Once you know that you should never play with a casino that uses more than 6 decks at a time and to never, ever, take insurance, youíre well on your way to becoming a blackjack pro.
