Baccarat is a community game where all players play with the same hand. In some variations, the baccarat rules offer to deal a second hand, but that majority of baccarat games make use of only one hand which narrows down the betting options for players.
Between 12 and 14 players can participate in a baccarat game and it includes 3 dealers.
There are two basic types of bets in baccarat, banker or player, banco or punto. Baccarat is also known as Punto Banco.
The dealer deals to each player two hands, which he has to bet on a winning hand or on a tie. When a bet on the bank wins, the player has to distract 5 percent of his winning as casino taxes.
Each baccarat hand has between two and three cards.
The player who placed the biggest bet on punto will receive the other two cards, also unrevealed. After he takes a look at the cards, he gives them back to the dealer, who will expose both hands, then casino dealer announces the winner.
